Wasa Future Festival is a recurring event held in Vaasa with the aim to create positive development for the region, for Finland, and for the world as a whole. This year’s festival will be held on 8-13 August, attended by many Finnish top politicians, industry executives, young people, and international thought leaders alike.
The focus of Wasa Future Festival is to create concrete positive outcomes for people’s everyday lives in regards to economic development, culture, and politics.
Traditional speeches and panel discussions will be complemented by on-site technology demonstrations and cultural installations – all geared towards offering insights, challenging our thinking, and paving the way forward.
The event is centered around Wasa Innovation Center in Vetokannas, a stone’s throw from the city centre. Entreprenor Sture Udd, the founder of the center, promises that everyone that attends will be part of creating positive outcomes in 2023.
“Considering all that is happening today in Europe and the world as a whole, an expressly positive approach could now be more important than ever,” says Sture Udd.
An expressly positive approach could now be more important than ever.
Participating in Wasa Future Festival is free of charge and open for everybody. The event is held in English, Finnish, and Swedish.
