Vaasa EnergyWeek 2025 set a new record with more organizers, more participants, more speakers, more matchmaking meetings, and more international guests than ever before.
This year’s edition of Vaasa EnergyWeek is over, and the numbers have been compiled. In general there was about a 10 percent growth in most areas.
- There were very few empty seats in the audience, and at times, there was even a queue outside the seminar rooms, says Kristoffer Jansson, EnergyVaasa’s Communications & Brand Manager.
Here are the numbers in a nutshell:
- Over 9,000 participants from 52 different countries (2024: over 8,000 guests from 48 different countries)
- On Tuesday, about a dozen ambassadors and representatives from different embassies attended.
- Over four days, 263 speeches were delivered by 198 speakers at 29 seminars (2024: 214 speeches by 163 speakers at 25 different seminars)
- Matchmaking meetings were held over three days, and the number of meetings once again grew compared to previous years (2025: 780 meetings, 2024: 710 meetings).
- The number of international guests was the highest ever in EnergyWeek’s history.
The dates for next year’s EnergyWeek 2026 are already set for March 16 to 19.
